Hello! I am Alicia Harris-Hicks, owner of Polished Elegance Everything, and your Certified Wedding/Event Planner, Coordinator and Designer. I am a loving wife and a mother of 2 beautiful daughters. I am grateful for them and their continued support. My family was really big on planning dinners and parties when I was growing up. I would watch them struggle though the entire planning process...EVERY TIME. My mom was the decorator & expert gardener. FYI her backyard looks like a mini version of the Ft. Worth Botanic Gardens. She made sure there were fresh cut flowers in beautiful vases as the centerpieces. As I grew older, I began to take mental notes on how things could run a little bit smoother and not stress everyone out. I always thought there was an easier way to do things, so I set out to find the solution. Through the years I became the "go-to" person for all family & friends events. Five years ago it hit me.
